Staff is awesome and so is the food! I was here to dj a fundraiser. After I left, a band came in to set up. This a good fun and entertaining place to eat.

I’ve been to many a BBQ place. I was raised in Texas, and have lived in North Carolina for a cumulative 7 years sampling BBQ from various restaurants. I must say, this spot happens to be the best I have had in many years! I ordered their lamb sandwich and my wife and I split an order of the brisket. Both were cooked to perfection and the flavor was absolutely fantastic! Our hostess Sharon was incredibly welcoming and paid special attention to my daughters and tended to the needs she anticipated ahead of time. She must have been able to recognize the ravenous look of a 3 year old. The atmosphere was awesome. The establishment was very clean and the contrast of the AC to the warm evening air was delightful. It’s not often we’re in Memphis, but when we next pass through Arnold’s will for sure be a place we visit. It’s conveniently located in the area of a lot of hotels and near the route we are taking out of the city tomorrow. My compliments to the staff of this fine eatery!

We had the greatest experience here! The catfish was such a treat. The service was so warm and friendly! Sherry is a gem!

Had great meals of BBQ pork and chicken, as well as a great visit with our waitress Gabby, so pleasant and knowledgeable about Memphis. Some of the best sweet tea in Memphis too!! Thanks to the whole staff for a great dinner!

Got the platter to get a sampling of their food. Ribs, catfish, pork shoulder, fried okra, and beans. Each bite more delicious than the next.Half the fun is finding the place, as the entrance is in the pedestrian alley between the two main streets. Worth the adventure without question.

In a city known for its BBQ and with a restaurant seemingly on every corner, I stumbled upon Arnold's during my lunch break and decided to give it a try. I've never been as pleasantly surprised by a random restaurant experience. The service was very friendly and efficient. Learned it's a family business. Was informed they have live music on the weekends. The dining room was something I wasn't expecting in both size and attractiveness. But the most important thing for any restaurant is that the food was the best I've had maybe ever. Just a simple pulled pork bbq sandwich plate. Its my opinion that to stand out in a BBQ city for your BBQ is something people should hear about. And then the homemade banana pudding was again, probably best I've ever had. Sorry Nana lol. Seriously though, you owe it to yourself to go see if I'm lying. Thanks Arnold's. I'll be back soon.

When we visited Memphis we wanted to have some local BBQ, and it did not disappoint. It was textbook Memphis BBQ. Not only was the food amazing but the staff and the owner was awesome. The building look rough on the outside, but inside was very clean and well maintained. Don’t let the location and building turn you away. You will miss out on some amazing memphis BBQ.

Arnold's is my favorite BBQ place to go to when I'm in Memphis. Service is ALWAYS friendly with Sharon and all the staff! Highly recommend the BBQ sandwich plate. The baked beans are incredible and the slaw on the sandwich is the perfect touch. Words dont properly describe the sauce to a T so I'll just say its AMAZING.

Had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The bbq sauce is not too sweet, a little kick and a great amount of smokiness. We bought a bottle to take home. Best bbq I’ve had in Memphis

Honestly, great food and service. Very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our ribs for two, homemade lemonade and cheesecake for dessert. Luckily our walk back to the hotel wasnt too far away because we were feeling very full.

Amazing ribs! And I could live on the collard and turnip greens. Excellent food, good prices. And the service is amazing as well. If you go, hopefully you will get Kisha as a server. She's the best.

Friendly table service. The ca rut fish was the best I've had in decades. My party had rubs, pork shoulder, and rib tips which they all loved aling with perfectly cooked fried okra. Get the fried okra and thank me later.

Very friendly family-operating place with great homey food and really reasonable price. They prepare food by order so be patient but it's worth it. Crispy fried okra was good.

Outstanding barbecue. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic! The ribs have a great taste and the presentation is fantastic. But try the smoked chicken wig appetizer- almost other-worldly! The place was a little difficult to find, but well worth the search.

We stopped in Memphis as a halfway point and couldn’t resist going to Arnold’s based on reviews. To say it was amazing would be an understatement; we were seated immediately by the sweetest soul Sherry and our mouth watering ribs for 2 dinner was on the table shortly after. They were tender moist meaty and smoked perfectly add beans and fries.. ooof everything was perfect all the way to the sauce :) We made a big mistake not getting dessert to go as well, there will be a next time!

Best ribs we have ever had as well as stellar collards. Arnold's is spotlessly clean and our waitress was a delight to converse with; it's always about the people you meet along the way and good food is not always easy to come by.

The best bar-b-que I've had in years! We came all the way from California and this made it worth it. The staff is awesome and friendly and the sauce is the best!

Absolutely amazing experience here at Arnold's. We happened to stop by when we were in Memphis for the night and I'm so glad we did. The service was great and the food was out of this world good. I literally would drive 8 hours back just for that BBQ bologna sandwich. It was sooooo good. I'll be dreaming about it until the next time I can make it back to Memphis. Also the ribs were TO DIE FOR!! SOOO GOOD. PERFECTLY DONE! I honestly can't say enough good things about this establishment. Thank you all at Arnold's for letting me try some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten. Y'all are all-stars ♥️♥️♥️♥️

We just left this AMAZING restaurant! After being on the road for 12 hours and reading raving reviews, we entered the restaurant with high expectations and let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint!! My husband especially is a major foodie and he was salivating for more. My picky kids kept saying “mmm mmm mmm!” The portions were bigger than expected so we had leftovers. Sharon was our waitress and she was so sweet and welcoming. Definitely eat here if you want to get a taste of Memphis BBQ. The location wasn’t hard for us to find like other reviewers. Just keep an eye out for their bright restaurant sign. They are currently open for take out or dine in. We dined in for the full experience. Thank you Sharon for your hospitality and kindness to my family! We highly recommend this restaurant!

Best BBQ joint in Memphis!! I'm highly allergic to fish, Sharon and Cooks made sure that my food wasn't fried in the same oil! You know how rare that is for someone to go out of their way to do that! Thank you!! I will be back! I loved that place so much!!!

This place deserves more reviews and customers. The food was good and the service is excellent. Real family feel. It's in an alleyway so that might put some off, but it's really nice and very clean inside.

I'm from Canada, we do not have good BBQ places around where I'm from. When I travel to the US, I'm on the lookout for a good local BBQ joint to discover. Let me tell you that this place is definitively to visit when you are Memphis. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. I could not have asked for more.

Drove from Mississippi to Memphis to try Arnold's based on the Google reviews and I was not disappointed. Ordered a rib tip dinner and it was melt in your mouth good. The sides left a lot to be desired but that BBQ can't be beat. Will definitely be visiting again.

The place was a little ways away from where you'd expect a restaurant to be. But it was SO worth it.Friendly service and it was filling up as i was heading out.Would recommend this place to anyone that wants a GOOD BBQ.

I have eaten BBQ all over the world and I can say with certainty that this is the best BBQ pork sandwich on the planet. The amount of coleslaw is measured thoughtfully and the quality of the pork is perfect. This place is the best in Memphis overall and just doesn’t do the hype. They do the Q.

People ask me daily in my Uber/ Lyft about Memphis B-B-Q. Until today when l drove a Dave Matthews roadie my answers were standard. From now on it's ARNOLD'S. The food is fabulous...table service...ice cold beer...home made desserts...delicious vegetables. I ordered the jumbo pork sandwich plate"JUMBO" it was. My server was Sherry...top notch! A beautiful experience indeed💝.

This place is legit! Wonderful, friendly service; amazing food; and very clean...a new favorite! The sauce was amazing (we bought three bottles to go!), perfect ribs and rib tips, fantastic pork shoulder, and the sausage was fantastic!

We had an opportunity to taste this amazing restaurant.First off - the smoked chicken wings were literally fall off the bone and tasted great.The sauce is seriously some of the most delicious BBQ sauce I have had the chance to try while eating my way through Memphis.The staff here is so sweet and the kitchen makes a MEAN chopped chicken bbq sandwich.

This is the best BBQ I have ever had. I love BBQ. It's a must when we do any traveling. Arnold's killed it. Hands down the best. Between the four of us we had ribs, brisket, pork shoulder, and a kids hamburger. My tiny picky eater declared it to be the best hamburger in the world. Seriously the meats were all smoked perfectly. Ribs were tender but lean, brisket was smokey and tender. Pork shoulder was good and smokey. You could tell they used high quality meat. Even the slaw and beans were amazing. Then we got cheesecake. Homemade cheesecake. The entire meal was amazing. Service was amazing. Eat here. You will not be disappointed.

Very good classic Memphis BBQ, good service. Not the easiest to find the front entrance, but well worth finding it. Great pork shoulder and ribs. Good sauces. I would highly recommend Arnold's!

Amazing place, off the beaten path, but well worth the find. Sherry was great, so sweet and accommodating, her recommendations were spot on and I can't stress enough try the bar-b-que fries; the rib meat, sauce & cheese spread over the french fries were amazing, we devoured them. If ever in Memphis, seek this place out, highly recommend.

Excellent customer service! Within walking distrance from the hotel. Great food! What more could you ask for? My friend and I were trying to decxide between the Brisket or the BBQ Nacho. We decided to split the Nacho and share some Cheese Stix. Hands down the best BBQ Nacho I have ever had! The restaurant (and bathroom!) were extremely clean. The young lady that was our server was a great resource on more than food. Highly recommend that you stop by if you get the chance!

Outstanding food and service. By far the best homemade banana pudding I've ever had! The pork sandwich (with coleslaw) was flavorful and tender. The service (by Kisha) was awesome from start to finish.

In a town with a rich history of amazing BBQ, this one deserves a place at the top. Tucked just off Beale, I enjoyed perfectly smoked ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, and fried okra. All were fantastic! Plus, their sauce has the right amount of tang without taking away from the meat. Most importantly, the staff is delightful and very welcoming. It made me feel like home. I will be coming back next time I am in town.

This is a VERY local place. it was recommended by a construction crew outside our hotel. It is not as famous as two other recommendations (Central BBQ and Memphis BBQ), but it was authentic with incredible ribs and probably the best chicken wings we've ever eaten. Arnold's is in the local alley with parking in an iffy looking area. Ribs and chicken wings are meaty, slightly sweet and no grease!!! We know its a local place when the local filming crew stopped for dinner, followed by firefighters. If its good enough for Memphis bravest then its good enough for us!!!

Had the ribs with a side of Fried Okra and Beans, everything was excellent. The ribs were delicious and meaty, the fried Okra was fresh and crisp, (not mushy like other places) and the beans were very flavorful. The establishment is very clean and the staff fantastic. Sherry took care of me and it was a pleasure meeting her, genuinely very nice and friendly, made the dining experience even better. I will be back when in Memphis!

Excellent value in the ribs for two. Very good meat and the warm sauce is excellent. Very well hidden and not a tourist trap. Great place and wonderful staff. Feels very family run.

Great place! The ribs were sliced, done to perfection, and served dry, with warm sauce, as well as plenty of sauce and napkins on the table. Can’t wait to try some of their other items-that half chicken sounds like the bomb, and if they do brisket as well as their ribs, well... Now the sauce seemed to have a vinegar base, but plenty sweet. I’m going to see if I can pick up a bottle on my next visit.
